"Ensuring the Availability and Sustainable Management of Clean Water and Sanitation for All"
Clean water and proper sanitation are basic human needs. One of the points in the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the environmental sector is to ensure that people achieve universal access to clean water and sanitation. The UN Secretary General appointed 27 High Level Panels in July 2012. The High Level Panel is a global partnership that aims to eradicate poverty and transform the economy through sustainable development.
The main focus is on the availability of food, clean water and energy which are the basis of life. The most important changes in sustainable consumption and production will be driven by technology, innovation, product design, detailed policy guidelines, education and behavior change. The panel proposed twelve Universal Goals and a National Targets. The target calls on countries to “Achieve universal access in the water and sanitation sector” which is expected to be achieved by 2030.
The World Bank in 2014 reminded 780 million people do not have access to clean water and more than 2 billion people on earth do not have access to sanitation. As a result, thousands of lives are lost every day and material losses of up to 7 percent of world GDP.
Sanitation, as well as clean water, is specifically discussed in the six SDGs goals, although it remains to be noted that these goals are actually a unity.
Week 2"

Sustainable development is often aimed at business activities that involve the surrounding community, utilize natural resources in a sustainable manner, save energy and are environmentally friendly. The involvement of many parties has made sustainable development touted by academics and policy makers as a solution to driving the economy amid the COVID-19 outbreak. As is known, the impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic has touched the joints of the economy. It has even become a serious concern to make the COVID-19 problem not only homework for the health sector but also other sectors including the economy. Not only in Indonesia, the impact of COVID-19 on the economy has become a concern of governments in various countries. Various policies were issued, one of which was promoted by sustainable economic development. Inevitably, governments around the world have now issued fiscal and economic stimulus packages to strengthen health, create jobs, alleviate poverty and rebuild a sustainable economy in the future.
Motto :
Therefore, in sustainable development during the existence of Covid - 19, it is necessary to emphasize the right strategy such as optimizing environmentally friendly sectors. In addition, handling business according to targets can also have a positive impact on the environment and workforce. Do not be pessimistic about unattractive green sectors because sectors like this are actually able to absorb a large number of workers. On the other hand, the concept of future collaboration can also be the end so that sustainable economic development can be realized. In this case, Alin emphasized that priority sectors are determined and environmentally friendly management is carried out effectively.
