"The use of detergen in domestic life"

🐳 Reflection

Many of the objects that we are discussing use chemical reactions or commonly called chemical products. Detergent making is an example of the application of the concepts of atoms, molecules and ions to everyday chemical products. Because of the reduction in oil-producing plants while the explosion in the population increased, the human need for soap was not met. Through current technological advances, synthetic washing agents, detergents, have been discovered. Detergent is an inseparable item in daily life in Indonesian society. Detergent is a variety of fighting materials used to help clean households and make petroleum-derived materials. Compared to soap, detergent has the advantage of having better washing power and is influenced by water. In detergents there are chemicals that are used to break down and remove oil and dirt. This material is needed by humans. Almost every day, everyone uses detergent in life. The biggest detergent users are households. Detergent in the household is usually used for washing soap to remove stains.

🐳 Wisdom

It's no secret if excessive detergent use can be used. The use of detergents by residents is obviously not environmentally friendly. Ironically, this has not received serious attention. In that case, it can cause two things causing air pollution due to the use of detergents. The first determines the structural factor. The second focuses on the cultural factor regarding citizens' awareness. Water governance policies in Indonesia must be addressed. Any policy that is produced must first be considered not only economic factors, environmental and socio-cultural priorities. The policy must be developed in sustainable development (sustainable development). In other words, the development paradigm must be changed. However, no less important is human consciousness itself. Excessive use of detergent is the main result of the home industry and industry. In household activities, the community is not (or reluctant) aware of the importance of the river for life. They still carry the river as a backyard and landfill. How wise and indeed the river should be made front porch. Thus, the river will always be maintained its beauty and cleanliness. This is contrary to the laundry business and the textile industry. Waste from laundry and the textile industry contains chemicals that are used only for the environment. Supposedly, waste is needed well but the high cost of waste management in the industrial world is still one of the obstacles. Furthermore, the content of hazardous chemicals from detergents in the laundry industry and also coloring agents in the textile industry greatly conserves river ecosystems, the concentration and purification of detergent waste increases the mortality rate of fish. Not only that, the river water becomes unfit for use. Furthermore, industrial waste that is not well managed can also be brought about by planning hazards the next day. human interaction and the environment.

People's behavior can be changed by changing their understanding first which can be done with intense and intimate education. What is interesting to highlight in this case is the role of the community of environmentalists. They must be consistent in transmitting values regarding the importance of water for life. They must be the frontline in campaigning for water conservation. It would be appropriate if the resulting policy reflected inclusiveness. Inclusive means involving involvement with indicators of accessibility, participation and freedom. Every element must be involved starting from the planning stage, implementation to the policy oversight. Moreover, it also enhances the aspirations of the world set forth in the sustainable development agenda, especially the 6th goal of Clean Water for All will soon be realized.

🐳 Action Now

My action at this time also reduces the use of fabric softeners. Because the ingredients can damage the environment as well as health. Instead, instead of using chemicals to make it soft, add a cup of white vinegar when washed, or mix baking soda and vinegar when soaking clothes is much wiser. Finally, avoid bleach your clothes as much as possible. Bleach will help with other chemicals in the environment. One of them is called halides, the cause of corrosion in shells and crustaceans. At high concentrations, the combination of ammonia and bleach also releases gases that can release lung function. And the chlorine composition in bleach has been approved with breast cancer and reproductive problems.

- Plant waste-absorbing plants
Greywater waste can be prevented by planting sewers with plants that function to absorb pollutants. Namely networks, Pontederia cordata (purple flowers), water sticks, internoy futoys, thypa angustifolia (brown flowers), water jasmine, and water lilies. Although it is less effective because this plant is only able to absorb a little, it cannot disguise the fat and garbage from kitchen products that come thrown into the gutter, but makes it easy enough and easy to try.

- Don't litter
Any waste, especially chemical cleaners or medical products must be paid in the trash. You who see trash scattered about also need to take the initiative to throw away. Because, if carried into the air can be challenging dangerous to humans and the environment through its infectious, otherwise, or radioactive nature.

- More efficient and efficient
Not excessive in using household chemical products - including detergents - proved to be minimal risk to the environment. Therefore, EPA, the US environmental protection agency must ask you to increase the efficiency of using bathing water. In addition, do not carelessly use a septic tank. Also use environmentally friendly or self-made detergents, as well as phosphorus-loaded soap. And help yourself. You are actively involved in trying to improve the environment.

🐳 Action Plan

My action is currently planting sewers with water plants that can absorb pollutants. Plants that can be used include water sticks, water jasmine, and water lilies. This method is very easy, but can only absorb a little pollutant and can not filter the fat and kitchen waste that come thrown into the gutter. We can make the absorption tank modified lower than the collection tank so that the water can flow smoothly. In this infiltration tank there are charcoal and coral which function to filter pollutants in detergent waste.

🐳 Love

We must love, care for and save our earth for life now and in the future. never pollute the environment without knowing the consequences or consequences that will result. We as inhabitants on this planet earth must maintain the balance of nature preservation that has been given by the almighty god as much as possible.

🐳 Promise

I will try to reduce detergent waste (by treating waste as much as possible) which is very detrimental to the surrounding environment, especially in the habitat in the water and minimize the use of detergent according to the capacity to be used.
